CALL FOR ENTRIES
MATTAWOMAN
CREEK ART CENTER
Presents
A
HOLIDAY SALON and ALL-MEDIA
MEMBER SHOW
November 7
to December 14, 2008
The Holiday Show is a combination of members that have
signed up for individual spaces and the usual holiday exhibit.
This
call for entry is for members that want to enter the salon
portion of the show. The following information
applies.
GUIDELINES:
- Each space is approximately 7x8 feet. The walls
behind your space may be used as you
wish.
- Tables, easels, etc. may be used within your allotted
space.
- The usual MCAC rules do not apply for this
show.
- Original artwork and prints only, all pieces must be
for sale. MCAC retains 25% commission on
sales.
- The artist is responsible for set up and take down of
his/her own exhibit.
- Artists need not be present during show times.
Docents will handle sales.
- Artwork cannot go from gallery to gift shop or visa
versa.
- Assigned spaces will be designated for each
artist.
- Artist must reserve a space with payment by October
15. Please fill
out attached entry form and return to MCAC.
ARTWORK DELIVERY DATE: Exhibits can be set up
any time Thursday, November 6 or Friday, November 7 or before
10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Exhibits must be ready for Saturday
opening of 11:00 a.m.
RETRIEVAL DATE: Exhibits cannot be
removed before Monday December 15, but must be
removed by Saturday, December 20.
ENTRY FEE: $25 per artist for members
or membership fee and per artist cost for non-members
Exhibiting artists are needed as
docents. Please sign up for a date when work is
delivered.
LIABILITY: All work
will be handled with all possible care. MCAC will not be
responsible for any loss or damage. MCAC will not be
responsible for work left after retrieval dates. After 30 days
the work will become the property of
MCAC.
