Call for Entry

INDIVIDUAL ARTIST or GROUP SHOWS

for  2025

 

Mattawoman Creek Art Center (MCAC) is seeking artists of all media to exhibit their artwork in Individual Artist and Group Shows.  If you are an artist, please consider this opportunity.  We are now accepting applications for 2025 - 2026.

MCAC is a beautiful and spacious gallery overlooking the scenic Mattawoman Creek within Smallwood State Park in rural Charles County.  With its cathedral ceiling, this light-filled gallery offers 1,300 square feet of floor space and 180 linear feet of wall space for the display of two and three-dimensional art.

Individual Artist and Group Shows, open to members of MCAC and non-members, may feature one or several artists.  If you think filling the whole gallery with your artwork is too big a task, consider asking one or several artist friends to share a show.  If all of your artwork is 2-dimensional to hang on the wall, consider asking a 3-dimensional artist to share the show to fill the floor space, or vice versa, if your artwork is 3-D.  You can also apply to show your work in only one of our two galleries, in which case you would share a show with an artist or group of our choice in the other gallery.
