Unless otherwise stated in this policy document, artists displaying artwork at Mattawoman Creek Art Center must be at least 18 years of age.

Artwork created by persons under the age of 18 years may be displayed when a contract exists between Mattawoman Creek Art Center and an organization which takes legal responsibility for the display of said artwork. An example of such an organization is the Charles County Board of Education. The youth artwork is not for sale.

Any current member of Mattawoman Creek Art Center (MCAC) who is the parent or legal guardian of a youth between the ages of 14 and 18 years may sponsor that youth to enter one piece of artwork in any MCAC open show which has no cash prizes. The youth artwork will not be for sale. All fees and rules that apply to the show, with the exceptions of age requirement for the artist and the requirement for artwork to be for sale, must be met.
